Group

The DisHardware Research Group studies practical distributed systems with a focus on consensus, transaction correctness, and real-world performance.

Who We Are

We are a research-oriented engineering group working on distributed infrastructure, benchmark design, and reproducible experiments.

Research Focus

  • Consensus Protocols: Raft-based replication and fault-tolerance behavior
  • Cross-Shard Transactions: 2PC coordination across multiple shards
  • Benchmarking: Throughput/latency evaluation under realistic workloads
  • Systems Reliability: Failure handling, recovery, and consistency guarantees

Current Topic

Our current main topic is cross-shard transaction execution on Raft-based systems, including end-to-end evaluation on multi-node clusters.

Collaboration

We welcome collaboration on distributed systems research, experimental methodology, and systems optimization.
